News : ENTRIES FULL FOR KIA ROUND

24 February 2019

THE TRIAL WILL DEFINITELY TAKE PLACE EVEN THOUGH THE WEATHER CONDITIONS THIS MORNING HAVE BEEN HORRENDOUS. CONTINGENCY PLANS MEAN THERE WILL BE SOME CHANGES, BUT IT WILL HAPPEN.   The entry list for the second round of the Kia Twinshock Championship is HERE.

Eric Kitchen's pictures have been added to the Gallery under the  heading Low Gil, Feb 24 2019. Forty nine pictures in all which probably covers every rider in the trial.

The club's next event, the Kia Twinshock trial is filling rapidly with over 80 entries to date and a maximum of 125 being taken, so if you or anyone you know is thinking of entering and have done yet done so, get cracking!

TODAY'S RESULTS and the trial are so much better when the sun shines and it certainly shone at Low Gill for the opening Sunday trial of the year.

Thanks to Mike Crackles for the use of his land and we almost had a full house of observers, so thanks to the regulars who support us so religiously. The turn out of 49 riders wasn't too bad considering that Barrow also had a trial and judging by the comments, our event was well received. Congratulations to Matthew Alpe, Mark Quinn and Andrew Scott the individual course winners and thanks to all who rode.

Our next trial is on Sunday March 17 which is the second round of the Kia Twinshock Championship and will be at Brookhouse Brickworks. Already there are 72 entries in the file and with a maximum of 125 if you are thinking of riding (on a twinshock or air-cooled mono of course) then you had better get your entry in quickly.

Once again thanks to Erik Kitchen for supplying the picture of Ian Holgate and there will be some more in the gallery mid-week.
