News : Charity Start For The New Year
30 December 2018
Our Charity Trial in aid of the North West Air Ambulance takes place on New Year's Day at Craggs Farm, Low Gill (LA2 8RB) where Dave Oswald has set out ten fairly gentle and wide sections mostly using the stream that runs along the bottom of the valley.
This is a single route trial and is aimed at every level of ability from Youth C upwards, so if at all possible get yourself along to take in a New Year ride which starts at 11am, giving you an extra half hour lie-in after the overnight festivities. Parking is not that good but it's best to drive up the gravel track, turn round at the top and park on the right hand side facing downhill. There won't be any catering but entries will be taken at the start.
Due to increased insurance costs for 2019, the entry fee for all our trials will increase by just £1 so it will be £18 on Tuesday.
