News : Here Endeth 2018 With Brookhouse Results

09 December 2018

RESULTS from Brookhouse Brickworks are attached which brings Lancs County's 2018 season to a close.

But it doesn't stop for long as on January 1 we start again with our New Year's Day Charity Trial at Craggs Farm, Low Gill, probably our best all-weather venue and though parking is not that brilliant, somehow everybody manages to get themselves squeezed in. Start time will be 11am and it will be a one route course, so everybody rides the same sections.

Today's trial at the Brickworks was a challenging affair put in by several of our great club members including Robert Taylor, Nick Shield, Andy Whiteside, Jason Cragg and Ian Quinn and if I have missed somebody, sorry.

Special thanks as always to the hardy observers, Ted Beaty, Nigel Fallows, Ian Quinn, David Taylor, Liam Swidenbank, Stuart Willshaw, John Gornall, Tom Gregory all rewarded for their efforts with a nice tin of Marks and Spencer biscuits or a bottle of wine and a free visit to the burger van.
