| RESULTS OF BIRKETT ROUND 5 AT LOW GILL ON NOVEMBER 7 |

It was a bright, breezy day with even the occasional spurt of sunshine to make for ideal trialing weather – but that was at the Northern Experts near Macclesfield.
Unfortunately at Low Gill last Saturday the weather was as bad as it could be for a trial and you’ll know the day proved almost impossible to handle.
So we hope you’ll understand that this was not a normal, Lancs County promotion and you’ll accept that the results may not reflect what you consider correct.
As I was playing away at the above mentioned trial, I’ve compiled these results for those riders that have four scores on each results sheet, bearing in mind that section 2 was scrubbed. As you can see, there’s not many.
If you don’t agree, then phone me by all means (evenings 07788 161929) but I can do little more than use what I’ve got.
Thanks to all the riders who supported us, thanks to the observers and land owner and particularly Julie Kirkbride for taking the entries whilst I was away. Chris Kirkbride and his small team did the best they could on the day, but as you will realise he was always fighting an uphill battle.
As this was the last Birkett round, I’ll be compiling the championship results soon and once they have been done they will be posted on this site.
Our final trial of the year is on December 13 at Brookhouse Brickworks and this is a North West Centre Championship round. But it will be to our usual Sunday level, therefore should be ideal for most riders. Entries are taken at the start which will be 10.30am.
