Finally, the club got what it has asked for this year, a mild and dry night for an evening trial. As a result, some 57 riders turned up for four laps of the slippery ten section course.
Wrayton Hall Farm is slippery at the best of times, so apologies if the scores were higher than expected, but it seems that just about everybody enjoyed themselves. Thanks to the observers for again manning all sections, and thanks to Chris Kirkbride, John Kennon and Dave Oswald for marking out as well as to those who pulled in at the finish.
Brian Ashton, the landowner is as keen as anybody to have trials on his land, so again thanks to him for his enthusiasm and generosity.
Hopefully results will be attached now and the site is back up and running as normal. The next evening trial is on Wednesday, August 5 at Anna's Ghyll, Brookhouse - look elsewhere on this site and you'll find directions to get there.
