The Trials Try-Out day that the club held on Saturday, September 6 proved successful with seven riders arriving to take part.
We had four adults and three youngsters take part and a load of variations in easy sections for them to try including small hills, cambers and easy becks. With as many club members in attendance teaching, the seven had more advice than they could have wished for and after a strenuous three hours, all said they had learned a lot and judging by the way their efforts improved, it was very successful.
There will certainly be another such day in the future, so when we get one arranged, details will be posted here and on Trials Central.

A reminder now for the club's next trial which is on Sunday, September 27. This will be at Ringstones Lane, High Bentham and we'll be using John Clarke's land which has not been used by us for two years. Whilst this is quite a small venue, Chris Kirkbride and Dave Oswald have done a lot of work at the site and have opened up the river and some more gullies to provide more room and they reckon it will have significantly improved what has always been a very good, if small venue. So join us once again on the 27th for another cracking Sunday Series trial.
There will be a clubman course, a green course and a hard course, with entries taken at the start and of course all Lancs County's usual facilities. Not sure at the moment about a conducted course, but hope to be able to confirm one way or another fairly soon.
