As you will see below, the club's Annual General Meeting will be held on Tuesday, January 31 at The Station Hotel, Carnforth at 8pm.
This is an informal meeting where the details of 2011 will be discussed and any plans for 2012 together with the normal election of club officials.
We welcome new committee members - we only meet about 3 times per year but we always welcome help in setting out trials even if you can only manage once of twice per year. |

Venue change for January 1 - RESULTS POSTED ON TC |

THE RESULTS HAVE NOW BEEN POSTED ON TRIALS CENTRAL AS OF 5.30PM.
As expected, we have had to move Sunday's trial to The Windmills above Brookhouse, start time 11am.
Arkholme is simply too wet, so we are using the smaller venue at the Windmills, where we normally run an evening/Saturday afternoon trial.
Parking is still a problem so please park with care and as instructed. Martha will be there for catering. Thanks |

As everybody will know, we were unable to go ahead with our final trial of the year at Brookhouse Brickworks due to the unacceptable depth of the water in the stream.
Those who know the venue will appreciate that the valley through which the stream runs makes it pretty impossible to get from one end to the other without crossing the stream many times and according to the four riders who went down to have a look for a solution all agreed that we had no other alternative but to call it off.
Our apologies, but that's the problem when the land we use is primarily stream sections. We've had to cancel four times now in the last two years and we don't like that!!
To avoid such a potential problem on January 1 when we go to Bainsbeck Farm, Arkholme, should that be unusable or there is a threat that it is unusable, then we have pre-arranged to go to The Windmills above Brookhouse, that's the piece of land just below where we were today and where we can get away with it should there be deep running water.
Keep an eye open for announcements on this site and Trials Central.
